This is the first book in the Forbidden Men series, by Linda Kage. It got four out of five stars from me and damn, that's hard. For me, this is what the star-rating means:
One star: I didn't like it.
Two stars: It was okay.
Three stars: I liked it.
Four stars: I really liked it.
Five stars: It's fucking awesome. Best. Book. Ever.
So. I really liked this book. This series, actually. It's really original, and the characters are really good. They're complex and have their own past, all of them. And it affects them and their personality.
Just a short text 'cause I've read it eons ago. I should probably re-read.
The bad thing about this series is that all of the books have nearly the same structure, but Linda still manages to shock the hell out of you every single time, I promise.
This series is highly recommended.
